Black Friday (2004)
Black Friday, possibly Anurag Kashyap’s best, supported a book of an equivalent name, chronicles the events that led up to the infamous 1993 Bombay blasts and therefore the subsequent police work . While the docudrama received critical acclaim from both national and international audiences alike, it wasn’t without co-=ntro-=versy. Black Friday was thanks to screen in India on December 29, 2005. But after a petition filed by one among the accused within the 1993 bla-=$ts, Mustaq Moosa Tarani, the Bombay supreme court raised a ban.
The court allowed a release 20 months later in 2006, post the decision .
